Tasting note: In May 2014 from magnum, late cellar release: Expressive nose, spirity, dried fruit, clearly of age, leather. Punchy spirity nose. In taste sweet and refined, very nice sweet mouth feel. Raisins and pure almost primary fruit. Youthful and balanced. Very good. In the same quality as the one I so enjoyed during the pre-sale dinner in Amsterdam with Charles Symington in November 2012.
Again a lovely bottle during the Christie's pre-sale dinner in the London boardroom, refined and beautiful length. All small red dried fruit. Really youthful gorgeous and all pleasure. Seemly infinite life. Last tasted October 2014. EV.
