With Omega Extract of the Archives confirming the sale of the present watch on 21 March 1953 to Italy and red fitted presentation box.

The celebrated Cosmic model, originally introduced to the market in 1947, was Omega's first watch featuring a full calendar combined with moon phases. It was mainly available with 14K or 18K yellow or pink gold cases and fitted with various dial configurations.
