Specialist note

The present watch is a fine example of the celebrated "Cioccolatone" model by Vacheron Constantin. Originally introduced into the market in the 1950s, it was made in several versions, the majority in yellow gold with either mechanical or automatic movements and fitted with simple dials or calendar and phases of the moon.
