Cal. 814 mechanical movement, 17 jewels, silvered matte dail, applied gold dagger and Arabic numerals, sweep centre seconds, central revolving alarm disc, water-resistant-type circular case, screw back, fancy lugs, second crown for setting and winding of the alarm in the band, case, dial and movement signed

Specialist note

According to the Archives of Jaeger-LeCoultre, the movement of the present "Wrist Alarm" was produced in 1956. Its 14K gold case was made in the US for LeCoultre. The engraved designation "VXN" on the balance bridge of the calibre 814 movement was reserved for watches destined to the US market.
