WILLIAM WEGMAN (B. 1943)

Holly Solomon had a longstanding and special relationship with artist and photographer William Wegman, who joined the Holly Solomon Gallery in 1978 and showed with Holly for more than a decade. Wegman used Polaroid’s legendary large format to capture this haunting image of the artist's Weimaraner wrapped in red foil.
