AARON GARBER-MAIKOVSKA (B. 1978)

Aaron Garber-Maikovska seeks to create meaning in his art through gestural forms and abstract movements. His drawings contain a maniacal, frenzied way about them and the artist can be felt viscerally throughout his sheets. This work uses thick layers of pastels in different hues of yellows, oranges, blues and greens to create shapes and forms that almost seem to turn into a form of language created by Garber-Maikovska.
