With: Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with raised gold hour-markers, tachometer scale in 1943 and its subsequent sale on 19 July 1944, Service Invoice stamped by Union Suiza SA and dated 24 November 2017 and service tag.

Specialist note

Consigned by the descendants of the original owner the present ref. 130 has never been offered in public before. Recently serviced at Patek Philippe in Geneva it is preserved in very good overall condition, still retaining the International Customer Service tag and the sticker to the case back.

The appeal of this ref. 130 is further enhanced by its rare dial layout, combining Roman numerals to 6 and 12 o’clock with short baton numerals as opposed to the better known dots or thin oversized batons.

Research has revealed that it is only the third example of this model in pink gold featuring this layout to appear in public to date, all with the “long” Patek Philippe & Co. signature.

Reference 130
Reference 130, one of Patek Philippe's most iconic chronographs, was launched in 1934 and remained in production until the 1960s. Distinguished by its timeless "Calatrava" design, the model was available in different precious metals as well as in stainless steel.
