Consigned by a private collector the following three lots are a highly attractive selection of Patek Philippe’s ref. 1593 variants in pink gold, yellow gold and platinum.

Reference 1593 was launched in 1944 and is known among collectors as the "hour glass" model due to its streamlined form with the concave and curved sides. A formidable reminder of times past, this classic watch was available until around 1967.
The model is illustrated in: Patek Philippe Wristwatches, Martin Huber & Alan Banbery, second edition, pp. 128 & 129, as well as p. 141.
