Specialist note

According to the Collectors Index, the present watch is the first example of a reference 1446 with black dial, confirmed by the Extract from the Archives, to appear in public to date. It is furthermore fresh to the market.

Very rare and unusual, only few examples of the reference 1446 are known publically at all. The flat-sided case with unusual straight lugs with horizontal bar are the hallmarks of this reference. The present watch is particularly impressive with black dial and yellow gold indexes which are confirmed by the Extract from the Archives.
