With: Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming the date of manufacture in 1955 and subsequent sale on 4th May 1956

Specialist note

According to the Collector Index, this watch has never been offered in public before.

Reference 2496 was introduced into the market in 1951 and made in different case materials with different dial versions. It was also available with the more common, smooth case or with the "Clous de Paris" decoration, such as the present watch.
