MOVEMENT: Manual, Cal. 72, 17 jewels, bridge stamped ROW
DIAL: Silvered, applied dagger numerals, three engine-turned subsidiary dials for constant seconds, 30 minute and 12 hour registers
CASE: Stainless steel, screw down back stamped 6234 inside and ‘stainless steel’ outside, screw down crown, pump pushers, 36 mm. diam.
STRAP/BUCKLE: Rolex strap, stainless steel Rolex buckle

Specialist note

Preceding the Cosmograph Daytona family of watches, the Oyster chronograph reference 6234 is one of Rolex's most timeless watches, effortlessly combining a sporty look with elegant, understated flair.

The ROW stamp on the movement of this example indicates the American market as original destination for the piece, perfectly fitting the miles graduation of the scales.
