DIAL: Black gloss, dot and baton numerals, gilt and silvered printing, Mercedes hands, luminous accents
CASE: Stainless steel, black rotating calibrated bezel, screw down back stamped 5512 and III 62 inside, screw down crown, 40 mm. diam.
BRACELET/CLASP: Stainless steel Rolex Oyster rivet link bracelet, deployant clasp stamped C&I and 7-70, overall length approximately 165 mm.

From the truly golden year for Rolex of 1962, and fresh to market coming from long term ownership in a highly regarded private collection, this reference 5512 Submariner embodies many of the usual features that Rolex played with during the highly transition period of the 1960s. With its iridescently glossy black dial, gilt chapter ring and text, silvered printing for SCOC, attractively aged luminous material including the exclamation point at 6 and appealing pointed crown guard case with bevels to the lugs still present, this Submariner offers the opportunity to acquire a stunning example of this iconic model from the most prestigious of manufacturers.
