According to the Omega Archives, the present watch was completed on 17th May 1968 and delivered to Colombia.
The reference 145012 appeared on the wrists of several astronauts on the Apollo 11 and 14 missions. It is the last model to be fitted with the caliber 321 movement. The case had some subtle technical improvements from the preceding reference 105.012 mainly to increase water resistance. The “SP” in the case reference refers to “Spécial Poussoirs”, the new pushers that are screwed into the caseband with slightly taller caps. The caseback now has a single bevel rather than double.
