CIRCA 1723-25, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS AND K.P.M MARKS TO TEAPOT, GILDER'S 42. TO BOTH, GILT \\\V MARK TO FLANGE OF COVER
Each side painted with elegant figures, merchants and a Turkish figure on quaysides with galleons on the water within gilt scroll-edged quatrefoil cartouches with Böttger-lustre panels issuing iron-red and purple scrolls flanked by sprays of indianische Blumen, the faceted spout with diaper, zig-zag and scale ornament alternating with gilt bands, the cover with a continuous scene of figures on the shore (minute chipping, slight scratch to enamels on one scene, slight wear to gilding)
