The present lot is certainly one of the most coveted timepiece Christophe Claret has ever manufactured. The sensational and futuristic design defines the name of this model and expresses again Christophe Claret's determination to continue pushing the boundaries of mechanical watchmaking. X-TREM-1, the first model in this new generation of highly exclusive watches, offers the future owner stunning features; a flying tourbillon inclined at 30° and time is displayed through two retrograde spheres defying existing watchmaking conventions. Two small steel spheres, hollowed and encased within two sapphire tubes placed either sides of the case will magnetically float through the air to read the time in an unconventional way. Only 8 pieces were manufactured in total and the present lot is numbered 1. Furthermore, the present watch is in "like new" condition.
