The famous Italian Pininfarina decided to partner with Bovet to celebrate in style their 80th anniversary. The new 514-part movement is housed in a convertible case enabling the owner to wear the watch with a titanium chain for use as a pocket watch or to transform the watch into a table clock. In tribute to Pininfarina 80th anniversary, Bovet created a tourbillon performing a complete turn in 80 seconds. The stunning looks of this rare watch is definitely one of the key assets where the automobile exterior look reflects the boldness of Pininfarina.
The present lot is numbered 18 of a limited series of 80 watches only. Furthermore, this "Ottanta" model is in "like new" condition.
