Two columns of 24 lines written in a formal gothic script in black ink with music of square notation, rubrics in red and some capitals touched yellow, both leaves with full-page bars of gold with blue or red embellishment ending in finials of acanthus leaves, gold bezants in the interior margin, three- to nine- line initials in blue or red overlaid with white brushwork with burnished gold grounds and infills containing red and blue trefoils, 14 smaller text initials, original foliation (one leaf slightly cropped, some darkening to the margins, traces of binding paper).

The leaves carry the beginning of the Nuptial Mass ('Propitiare Domine suplicationibus nostris') and prayers for the ordination of priests ('Ut hos electos').
