Including one historiated initial 'S', 125 x 125mm, [France, c.1500] in blue with red terminals against a ground of gold, depicting the Annunciation; another initial 'S', 145 x 115mm, [Perugia?, end 13th century] cut from a choirbook, set on a blue ground and with foliate infill in red.
[With:] 120 other similar initials decorated to varying degrees, as well as later examples [16th-18th centuries] incorporating printing and engraved material, some in a 19th century French album with gilt leather spine.
