The Secret People, released in 1952, was one of Audrey Hepburn's earliest films. She plays the character of Nora Brentano, a ballet dancer who, with her sister, flees to London after the murder of their father. Following from Hepburn's classical ballet training, this was an ideal role for the young aspiring actress to be cast in.
