Specialist note

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present movement in 1920, its encasement with silvered dial and raised steel hour markers in 1934 and the subsequent sale of the watch on 21 March 1935.

To the best of our knowledge, this watch has never been offered in public before.

Production of the famous Calatrava model with reference 96 was launched in 1932. In 1972 it was replaced by reference 3796.
