Cal. 10-200 nickel-finished lever movement, 19 jewels, micrometer regulator, two-tone silvered dial, applied dagger and Arabic numerals on guilloché chapter ring, inner beady minute divisions, subsidiary seconds, circular case, enlarged ribbed bezel, prominent overhanging blank horn-shaped lugs, snap on back, case, dial and movement signed
33 mm. diam.

Specialist note

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1954 and its subsequent sale on 30 November 1954.

To the best of our knowledge, this watch is one of only three examples of a reference 2549 in yellow gold to appear in public to date.

Reference 2549 is one of Patek Philippe's most extravagant post war designs. Launched in 1953, the model was available in yellow and pink gold with different bezel versions.
