Specialist note

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1965 and its subsequent sale on 14 December 1965. Furthermore delivered with a copy of the Patek Philippe servicing invoice dated 17 January 2008 and fitted black presentation box.

This watch has never been offered at auction before and is thought to be the only example of a reference 3445 in yellow gold featuring a luminous dial to appear in public to date.

Reference 3445 was in production from 1961 until 1981. It is illustrated in Patek Philippe Wristwatches by Martin Huber & Alan Banbery, second edition, pp. 220 & 221.
