Cal. 3035 nickel-finished lever movement, 27 jewels, the black dial with luminous dot, baton and dagger numerals, luminous mercedes hands, sweep centre seconds, magnified window for date, in tonneau-shaped water-resistant-type case with screw back and screw down crown, revolving black bezel calibrated to 60 units, stainless steel Rolex Oyster bracelet, case, dial and movement signed
40 mm. diam.

Specialist note

Reference 168000 was available with two different dial versions, the printed luminous numerals without frame (see lot 153 in this auction), and the later style with the luminous material enclosed by white gold borders, such as the present watch.

This model was only produced during a very short period and well-preserved examples are considered rare.
