SEIF WANLY (EGYPTIAN, 1906-1979)

Seif and Adham both visited Upper Egypt and produced a series of paitnings of the ancient sites and traditional villages on the banks of the Nile. The results are strangely impressive, a combination of the Wanly's refined, advanced aesthetic and traditionalist Egyptian themes.
