Carved in the form of a seated rabbit posing as a sumo wrestler holding up a gold rice bale, emblematic of Daikoku, as a trophy, the rice bale gold lacquer with nashiji interior and fitted with a knop formed as Daikoku's mallet inlaid in ivory and shell with flowers and with a silver tassel, the ears of the rabbit tied back by a lacquered and inlaid bandana, the vest of the rabbit of lighter brown wood and inlaid with ivory and shell florets, the belt slung across the belly of colored ivory and shell, and the eyes of the rabbit pink-backed glass
