The inro with a design of Shoki riding a Chinese lion executed in gold, silver and red takamaki-e, hiramaki-e and togidashi on a fundame ground, the eyes of both figures inlaid in glass, the reverse with a fleeing oni chiseled into a silver-lacquer ground, the interior lacqered in nashiji; fitted with a coral bead ojime and an ivory netsuke carved as a Dutchman
