Rare October 27, 1928 Bustin Babes and Larrupin Lous Souvenir Program

Original program as issued for game played between the barnstorming teams led, respectively, by Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig. The game was played at Kellogg Park in Battle Creek , MI with the Kellogg-Postum All Stars. Front cover pictures Ruth and Gehrig posed in their barnstorming uniforms. Interior has full page images of both Ruth and Gehrig with additional scoring pages (partially scored) and various local MI area business advertisements. Generally fine overall condition with some professional conservation/cleaning to the covers including a few small tear repairs to back cover. Very uncommon souvenir piece relating to one of the more noted promotional tours in the history of the game: VG-EX
