Original 2 3/4"x4 1/2" sepia tone snapshot image picturing Ruth and Gehrig in their 'Bustin Babes' and 'Larrupin Lous' (respectively) barnstorming uniforms. The photo was taken on October 18, 1927 in Sioux City, Iowa by young photographer Harold "Hy" Albeck as notated on the verso. Very clean overall with only minimal surface wear/wrinkling. The offered image was published in Iowa newspaper during the 1970s in conjunction with Aaron's home run record chase to which both vintage newspaper insertions are included.
