Rare 1946 Baltimore Orioles International League Complete Uniform

Rare original pinstriped jersey and pants from the Baltimore Orioles team of the International League pre-dating their entry into the American League in 1954. Jersey retains embroidered Orioles insignia across the front with original number "19" on back. Spalding manufacturer's label inside collar along with "19-46" number/year chain stitched indentifiers. "36" sizing chain stitched on back of tail as well. Matching Spalding pinstriped pants are included showing evident use. The jersey exhibits fine general use with small tear in front of tail and few ares of light soiling. The Orioles finished third to the Montreal Royals team that included Jackie Robinson in 1946 with the offered uniform being one of the earliest examples we have handled from this legndary franchise.
