Sepia tone 6"x8" portrait image of Speaker in Washington uniform signed across the bottom in blue fountain pen. Signature displays very boldly against Speaker's white jersey rating 9 out of 10. The photo itself has some toning to the left edge and is stamped by Wide World Photographs on the reverse. Includes a vintage file copy of 1949 letter request as sent with the offered photograph for signature by Speaker.
