IWC GROSSE FLIEGERUHR “BIG PILOTS WATCH,” REF. 5002

The IWC Grosse Fliegeruhr or more commonly referred to as the “Big Pilots Watch” is one of the most recognized and iconic IWC watches. The reference 5002 was the first Big Pilots Watch and is based after pilot’s watches of the 1940’s. This watch has a militaristic style and features a large 46mm case, beautiful leather strap with rivets, and large “onion” crown. The early Big Pilot Watches have a cult following and are becoming more desirable by collectors.
