CARTIERTANK CHINOISE

An extremely well preserved example of tank chinoise, the present specimen furthermore features the rare platinum case. Tank chinoise cases (and their tortue-shaped brethren “Tortue Chinoise”) are defined by the two horizontal bars above and below the dial. This design feature recalls architectural traits typical of Chinese architecture, and thus its name.
