Reference 570 is the oversize brethren to the iconic reference 96, the first Calatrava model. Indeed it borrows from its smaller sibling nearly every single aesthetic detail, with the obvious exception of the size. Its generous proportions make this model one of the most remarkably modern looking vintage pieces available on the market.
The present specimen is furthermore distinguished by the highly attractive two-tone champagne dial. While originally silvered, as mentioned in the Extract from the Archives, the current finish was most probably imparted to the dial during a restoration by a previous owner well conscious of its striking aesthetic appeal.
