Accompanied by a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 2002 and its subsequent sale on August 8th of the same year, and a Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin dated September 9th, 2002. Further accompanied by an additional case back, setting pin, product literature, Patek Philippe presentation box, Patek Philippe leather envelope, and outer packaging.

Reference 3940 was in production from 1985 to 2007.
