In 2004, Felipe Massa became the first ambassador for Richard Mille, collaborating with the manufacturer on a range of wristwatches. Massa is a Brazilian Formula 1 race driver, driving for both Sauber and Ferrari in his career, and wearing Richard Mille wristwatches during his races.
A year was spent developing this contemporary timepiece to ensure the design is based on the construction premise of Formula 1 racing cars whereby the chassis and engine have to work together in perfect harmony.
