With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with yellow gold bracelet, 378 diamonds 4.01 ct, 58 sapphires 16.15 ct, in 1972 and its subsequent sale on 6 September 1982.
This reference 4542/1 is the so far only known example of this highly rare and possibly unique model. It is furthermore preserved in excellent overall condition.
A decade of activism, freedom and self-expression dominated the 1970s and established fashion and jewellery trends became more tolerant and individualistic.
This unique bracelet watch with its geometrically abstract design enhanced with diamonds and sapphires is a fine and very elegant example of this period.
