Cal. 23-300 nickel-finished lever movement stamped twice with the Geneva seal, 18 jewels, Gyromax balance, free sprung regulator, rose-coloured dial, black enamel "sector" lines for the numerals, rhomboid-shaped asymmetrical two-body case, openwork snap on back designed to hold the one-piece leather bracelet by sliding it through at each end of the case, 18K gold Patek Philippe buckle, case, dial and movement signed

Specialist note

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1961 and its subsequent sale on 4 May 1962 and contemporary black presentation box. Furthermore delivered with the hand-drawn designs of the watch as illustrated in the catalogue, made and signed by Gilbert Albert.

This asymmetrical watch is distinguished by its unusual, unrestored rose-coloured dial with beautifully raised black enamel signature and sector lines. The case has not been subject to careless polishing, underlined by the clearly visible gold marks.

According to research, the present watch is one of only seven examples of a reference 3412 in yellow gold to appear in public to date.
