專家說明

"Many moving incidents occurred when the British troops were spending through the village of Loos, and were clearing every nook and cranny of German troops. In spite of the intense bombardment which had played around the village, some of the inhabitants were still living in their shattered houses. This stalwart Highlander succeeded in rescuing a little French girl from a position of great danger, and carried her in a fainting condition to a place of comparative safety. The woman of the village received the soldiers of the Allied armies with intense enthusiasm."
