'Avec les 72 pièces le chateau S. Ange n'est pas assez armé, et ne peut pas faire à l'ennemi un assez grand mal. Il faudrait qu'il y eut au moins six mortiers ... pouvoir promener [?] le feu et en imposer à la ville. Civita Vecchia me parait également assez mal armé. Les 49 pièces qui s'y trouvent sont d'un mauvais calibre'.
