GREENE, Graham (1904-1991). A series of 11 typed letters signed ('Graham Greene', 'Graham') to Professor Przemyslaw Mroczkowski, C6 Albany, London and La Résidence des Fleurs, Antibes, 25 January 1956 - 25 July 1988 (all but two before 1960), referring to their meeting in Cracow, his gifts of books (including an inscribed copy of Murder in the Cathedral), the preparations for a stage production of The Power and the Glory, and a trip to the Belgian Congo, 'I am about half way through a novel set in a leproserie of the Belgian Congo [A Burnt Out Case]', together 11 pages, 4to, with a secretarial letter, and an inscribed copy ('For Professor Mroczkowksi with happy memories of our first meeting in Cracow, Nov. 18, 1955') of The Power and the Glory (Heinemann Pocket Edition, 1945).
