Shaped circular, the centre of one depicting a stag in a river, the other with a huntsman shooting a stag, each scene with ochre scroll border, the green trellis and gilt scroll rims with flowers at intervals, marked under bases

Catherine II originally commissioned the Hunting Service for the Oranienbaum hunting lodge, based on the Royal Saxon Hunting Service, by Meissen.
