John Broad is recorded at Doulton from 1873-1919 as a modeler, sculptor, designer and decorator. He had both tremendous output and versatility, but was often overshowed by the fame of George Tinworth. See Desmond Eyles, The Doulton Lambeth Wares, London, 1975, pp. 94-95 for a futher discussion.
