Boldly painted with four ochre and blue apples flanked by blue-edged green foliage within a yellow band and blue-dash border, extensively damaged and repaired

A manuscript on the reverse records 'This Goose Plate was 200 years in one family at Woodlesford, near Leeds from 1677.'
