Compare to a censer and cover of the same shape and with a very similar design of gilt bosses and cicada blades, but with less vibrant enamels, in the Palace Museum Collection, illustrated in Compendium of Collections in the Palace Museum – Enamels, vol. 3, no. 187.
A closely related, nearly identical imperial cloisonné enamel tripod censer with gilt bosses and cover, from the Springfield Museums, was sold at Christie's Hong Kong, 28 May 2021, lot 2904.
