Born Paris, France, 1944. Exhibitions include: The Centre for Contemporary Art, Warsaw, Poland, 2001; The Jewish Museum, San Francisco, CA, 2001; 7e Biennale de Lyon: C'est arrivé demain, La Biennale d'art Contemporain de Lyon, France, 2003; Galerie de France, Paris, France 2005; Grand Palais, Paris, France, 2010. He is a winner of several awards including The Praemium Imperiale (for sculpture), Japan Art Association, Tokyo, Japan, 2007. He lives in Paris, France.
