Tasting note: High toned nose of long aged cask concentration. Leather, vintage wax and spices over soft elegant dried fruits. quite pungent after the 1880.
Strong taste of high concentration and intensity, all rich passion fruits with a focused yet explosive taste of rich fruits. some alcohol on the final.
This will be aged further in demi john. A Malvasia of power and length, full rich, with lingering almost luscious texture and focused acidity. Very very good. Love the more rough character in this wine. Interesting to retaste how glass aging will round the aromas, but will it tame the character?
