Specialist note

The present Submariner Date is a well-preserved representative of the famous model in gold, highlighted by its blue dial with raised gilt graphics. The stunning blue color changes, depending on the angle at which the watch is seen, from blue to black.

Reference 16618 was launched in 1988, fitted with the caliber 3135 movement and quick-set calendar functions. The model was available with a variety of dial versions, the present blue dial variant with gilt print being one of the most attractive.
