Specialist note

Offered in very good overall condition, the present reference 16618 is distinguished by the highly attractive champagne sunburst dial set with diamond and sapphire indexes.

Reference 16618, the all-gold Submariner, was launched in 1988, fitted with the caliber 3135 movement and quick-set calendar functions. The model was available with a variety of different dials, however dials with diamond and sapphire-set indexes can only be found on champagne and silver colored dials.
