Specialist note

Consigned by an important private collector the present Marine Tourbillon Chronograph is preserved in very good overall condition and is sold with the original certificate and box.

Ref. 5837 embodies the contemporary evolution of Breguet’s famous Marine collection, offering collectors a chronograph combined with a titanium one-minute tourbillon carriage in a larger case. The manually wound movement allows a 50 hours power reserve and was manufactured with a silicone balance spring and escapement wheel.

The legacy of Abraham-Louis Breguet’s early advancements and accomplishments in marine chronometers lives on through the firm’s Marine collection. Launched in 1990, it has continued to grow the line ever since and is available with a wide range of complications and materials.
