CIRCA 1730, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARK, GILDER'S 2. TO BOTH PIECES

6 ½ in. (16.5 cm.) high overall

Specialist note

Variants of this popular and enduring form can be seen in Böttger red stoneware and porcelain and are traditionally attributed to designs by the court silversmith Johann Jacob Irminger.
